Best Friends are Top Gurus
It would be sort of an exaggeration to call Professor Michael Porter, Professor Chan Kim and Dr. Jonas Ridderstråle friends of mine, but I am proud to say that I did business this year with all of them.
All three were voted among the Top 50 most influential living management thinkers in the world during 2005 in a ranking compiled Suntop Media in association with the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). The list was also commented in today’s The Times.
In October I staged the keynote speakers’ event at Canon Expo in Paris featuring:
Michael Porter ranked #1
Jonas Ridderstråle ranked #9
Chan Kim ranked #15
It also pleases me to see my own favorite management thinker Jim Collins being ranked #6 and climbing.
